Mark ("Mellow Mac") Carter got his professional start performing percussion, piano, and guitar in a variety of bands.
Mellow Mac's musical versatility is showcased through his writing various types of music including; R&B, Rap, Hip/Hop, Pop, Dance, Hip/Rock, Reggae tone, Techno, Gospel, Jazz, and Commercial Jingles.
Creative Director
As a Director of Artist development, Mellow Mac has produced hundreds of projects for record labels, production companies, including TV and film.
In 2020, Mellow Mac joined the GaimChng3r Entertainment record label as general manager where he fine tuned music production and artist development. He similarly partnered with Bungalo/Universal Music in 2022.
Composition For Screen
For the film "R&B Chick," (released by Nu-Lite Entertainment, distributed by Warner Brothers) Mellow Mac worked as the Music Composer. He also composed a song placed in the film “Thirteen” (distributed by FOX Searchlight Pictures) and was nominated for an Oscar & Golden Globe award.
